Discover how to support yourself in resilience.

Parent's troubles= Children's troubles

By 6 or 7 months old, our psyche has engrained compensation patterns.

This formula doesn't necessarily make us complete train wrecks as parents or children but we are affected by the moments we didn't feel the support we needed to learn to steady ourselves in daily life.

Our parents distorted their own development for their parents needs.

They have been victims of others' needs and misunderstandings for at least 20 or 30 years before they had children.

It's hard for parents to value a need in their child when they haven't had that need met in themselves.

These places we are missed in can leave confusion in our brain that can result in misfires when we are older. They might come in the form of accidents, communication problems, learning challenges, panic and anxiety or confusion just to name a few.

We want to learn to identify the double binds we have with our parents. Where have we given ourselves up for our parents needs?

On Wed, April 20, 2022 I will be offering an online group workshop where we will be exploring the topic of resilience and where we might have fallen out of resonance with our caregivers, community or larger world.

This is an experiential workshop where individuals will look at their family dynamics with the support of the group. Each participant is free to choose if they want to actively participate or watch and listen. Everyone plays an equal role in supporting, no matter how they choose to participate and everyone receives healing due to the nature of our energetic connections to each other..
