Something I've learned to accept is that not a lot of people are trauma informed so we have to work with our own trauma and know that's the best we can do. Not everyone will be patient with our inability to meet their perceived standards of perfection.
Bit by bit we can develop new neural pathways and remember that's part of what this life is for, slow and steady healing. There is no race and there is no finish line. Show up and seize the day.
Find ways to hold yourself steady. There will be times when others just don't have the capacity to help us do that.
